1. What information do we collect, and what do we do with it?
When you enroll as a student or subscriber (“learner”) on the Thinkific platform and/or related courses, as part of the enrolling process, we collect the personal information you give us, such as your name and email address.
We may send you emails about related course(s), registration, course content, your course progress, and/or other updates. We may also use your email to inform you about changes to the course, survey your usage, and/or collect your opinion.
The data that we collect is used to improve our future course offerings. We will never sell your data or use it for nefarious purposes. By this, we mean that we will never sell or share your data with any other person, organization, state, or country, including partners with whom we work. Further, we will never transfer your data to other organizations, states or countries except when required by law.
2. How do you get my consent?
When you provide us with personal information to become a learner on our site, make a purchase, or participate in the course, you consent to our collecting such data and using it for that specific reason only.
If we ask for your personal information for a secondary reason, like marketing, we will ask you directly for your expressed consent and or provide you with an opportunity to say no.

5. Thinkific
Our course and site are hosted by Thinkific Labs Inc. (“Thinkific”). They provide us with an online course creation platform that allows us to share our products/services with you.
Your data is stored through Thinkific’s data storage, databases, and the general Thinkific application. They store your data on a secure server behind a firewall.

6. Payment
If you make a purchase through Thinkific, a third-party payment processor, Stripe will be used to process your payment. Payments are encrypted through the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS). Your purchase transaction data is stored only as long as necessary to complete your purchase transaction.
All direct payment gateways adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover.
PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our site, related courses, and its service providers.
7. Third-Party Services
In general, the third-party providers used by us will only collect, use and disclose your information to the extent necessary to allow them to perform the services they provide to us.
However, certain third-party service providers, such as payment gateways and other payment transaction processors, have their privacy policies concerning the information we are required to provide to them for your purchase-related transactions.
For these providers, we recommend that you read their privacy policies so you can understand how your personal information will be handled by them.
Certain providers may be located in or have facilities in a different jurisdiction than you or us. Once you leave our course website or are redirected to a third-party website or application, you are no longer governed by this Privacy Policy or our website’s Terms of Service.

When you click on links on our course site, they may direct you away from the Thinkific site. Privacy practices of other sites are established and enforced by those sites, and we encourage you to read their privacy statements.

We take reasonable precautions to protect your personal information and follow industry best practices to ensure it is not inappropriately lost, misused, accessed, disclosed, altered or destroyed.

Thinkific collects cookies and/or similar tracking technologies. This means information that their website’s server transfers to your computer. This information can be used to track your session on their website. Cookies may also be used to customize our website content for you as an individual.
Thinkific uses cookies to recognize your device and provide a personalized experience.
Thinkific also uses cookies to attribute visits to their websites to third-party sources and to serve targeted ads from Google, Facebook, Instagram and other third-party vendors.

Thinkific may also use automated tracking methods on their websites, in communications with you, and in their products and services to measure performance and engagement.
Because there is no consistent industry understanding of how to respond to “Do Not Track” signals, Thinkific does not alter its data collection and usage practices when they detect such a signal from your browser.
11. Web Analysis Tools
We may use web analysis tools built into our Feminuity website and Thinkific’s platform to measure and collect anonymous session information.
12. Location
Thinkific may collect your zip code and Internet Protocol (“IP”) address.
13. Participation in Feminuity Services by Children and Young People
Feminuity values the opinions of children and young people and acknowledges their rights to express those opinions, and consent to participate in services is critical to the work that Feminuity does.
Feminuity uses the Tri-Council Policy Statement: Ethical Conduct for Research Involving Humans (TCPS 2) to determine ethical standards for people under the age of 17 years of age. The TCPS 2 indicates that consent must be “free, informed and ongoing.” According to these guidelines, services provided by Feminuity is considered minimal risk, and Feminuity following the following guidelines:
People aged 16-17 do not require the consent of a legal guardian or parent
People aged 15 or younger require the consent of a legal guardian or parent and are not able to participate in Feminuity services.
14. Quality Assurance and Customer Service
Your emails with us may be recorded, logged, and/or monitored for quality assurance and customer service purposes such as to assist in addressing your inquiries, troubleshooting, training and analytics to identify trends and make improvements to our platform, services and customer service. As part of the recording and logging of the calls and emails, we will collect information like the identity of the caller or sender of email, the date and time of the call or email, and the subject and resolution of the issue.
15. Changes to this Privacy Policy
We update our privacy policy regularly, so it is important to review it frequently. Changes and clarifications will take effect immediately upon their posting on the website.
If our site or course is acquired or merged with another company, your information may be transferred to the new owners so that we may continue to provide services to you.
