Our Approach

  • Curiosity Over Cancelling

We listen to understand, not to react. We approach every conversation with compassion and curiosity, creating opportunities for learning, growth, and shifts in perspective when presented with new information.

  • Binaries are for Computers

We go beyond either/or thinking. Life isn’t just “good” or “bad,” “for” or “against.” Embracing nuance and complexity leads to richer conversations and deeper understanding.

  • Building Real Bridges

We engage with different perspectives, even when it’s difficult. In challenging moments, we ask questions, stay curious, and look for connection across differences. We always center the humanity in ourselves and others.

  • Lessons Leave, Stories Stay

We share insights, not details. We openly share what we learn while respecting privacy and confidentiality. Focusing on the lesson, not personal specifics, helps us grow while maintaining trust.

  • Connect the Dots

Challenges often stem from systems—workplace policies, institutions, or laws. Understanding these connections helps us direct our energy where it matters most.

  • Find the Glimmers

We make space for joy, even in difficulty. Moments of joy, comfort, or connection can emerge in pain or grief. Recognizing these “glimmers” helps lighten tough conversations and experiences.

It is also home to many First Nations, Inuit, and Métis Peoples. As a fully remote team, we encourage our clients, partners, and each other to reflect on colonialism’s enduring legacy and engage in active reconciliation.
